100% Yield Increase of Forage on a Pasture in Ecuador
Date: July 2021 (summer)
Place: Riobamba, Ecuador
Details: Kyminasi Plants Crop BoosterTM (KPCB) technology was installed on a mixed forage field comprised of alfalfa, clover, and ryegrass at the Polytechnic School of Chimborazo in Ecuador.
Results
After 28 days and only four water applications with KPCB, greater vigor in the forage and a more vibrant healthy green plant color was observed in the KPCB-treated field. The KPCB plants reached an average height of 55–60 centimeters (cm) when the control field was an average of 25–30 cm. The control field was harvested after 55 days, while the KPB field was harvested after 38–40 days due to the impressive growth and vigor. The control field produced 6–8 metric tons (mt) / hectare (ha) and the KPCB field produced 12–14 mt / ha. This is a forage yield increase of 100% on average.
100% Yield Increase of Milk & Dairy on a Pasture in Ecuador
Date: December 2020 (winter)
Place: Riobamba, Ecuador
Details: Guido Carrillo decided to acquire the Kyminasi Plants Crop BoosterTM technology for one of his pasture fields. This field was grazing grounds for one of his cattle herds of 24 cows each. Guido wanted to see if improving the quality of the grass would increase the production of his cows.
Results
Grass rotation with Kyminasi Plants Crop BoosterTM technology was reduced from 30 to 16 days. The sustained and permanent increase in extra milk production is evident as follows:
- First month: 50 liters extra daily
- Second month: 80 liters extra daily
- Third month: 140 liters extra daily
Plant tissue examinations of the forage showed 20% more dry matter, as well as a greater abundance of important nutrient elements such as calcium, potassium, iron, manganese, zinc, and fiber. This added nutrient content in the forage will likely also result in more nutrient content in the milk that we are now producing more of.
62% Yield Increase of Forage on a Pasture in Ecuador
Date: July 2021 (summer)
Place: Riobamba, Ecuador – Polytechnic School of Chimborazo (ESPOCH)
Details: Kyminasi Plants Crop BoosterTM technology was installed on a mixed forage field comprised of alfalfa, clover, and ryegrass in Ecuador.
Results
The historical seed germination rate for this area and cultivars of forage is between 60% to 70%. The seed germination rate of the forage with KPB use was 95%. As a result of the increased germination rate, the farmer was able to use 30% less seeds. The KPCB-treated forage was ready for grazing 45 days after planting, while the normal timing for this area and type of forage mix is 90 or more days. The KPCB field had a 100% foliage coverage rate. A bright and vibrant green color was observed in the KPCB plants, and this added pigment indicates a higher concentration of chlorophyll from photosynthesis. The historical yield for this area and cultivars of forage was between 13 to 16 tons per hectare. The field that was treated with KPCB produced 21 tons per hectare of forage. This is a 62% yield increase in forage with KPCB use. As a result of the increased yield, this farm was able to increase the number of animals that it can feed from 2.5 to 3.5 animals per hectare. The increased nutrient density of the KPB forage allowed for an increase of 140 liters of milk production per day. The overall health of the cows improved significantly.
