25% to 30% Yield Increase of Alfalfa, Kale, and Spinach in South Africa
Date: July 2018 (winter)
Place: Johannesburg, South Africa
Details: The Kyminasi Plant Booster (KPB) technology was installed on a farm with alfalfa, kale, and spinach in April 2018. The crop was grown in the “fall” season of the Southern Hemisphere in temperate weather conditions. The crops were harvested in July of 2018.
Results
The spinach plants that were treated with KPB were a darker green color, with a much higher germination percentage and greater plant size than the control plants. The spinach yield was approximately 30% higher on KPB plants as compared to the control plants. The kale plants that were treated with KPB showed similar increases and were a darker green color, with a much higher germination percentage and greater plant size than the control plants. The kale yield was approximately 25% greater on KPB plants as compared to the control plants. The alfalfa plants that were treated with KPB produced a 20% higher yield than the control plants. The KPB alfalfa plants were denser with darker green foliage than the control plants.
